Pay Rate: Competitive Hours per week: 30 Working days: Monday - Friday Job Type: Temporary Job overview: Deal with telephone enquiries, desk enquiries, screen and redirect callers as necessary Process payroll every pay period Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences Handle changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and comply with relevant law Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records Honour confidentiality of employees' pay records Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review Perform the distribution of wages through issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts Processing staff expenses Dealing with invoice queries and filing invoices Supplier statements reconciliation Essential Criteria: Two years’ experience in a similar role Demonstrable experience of accounts/payroll Experience of using Sage Ability to work to deadlines RSA II - Text/Word Processing or Equiv.
